We woke up pretty late and had a relaxed breakfast. We had bagels again. Hmmmm. When Christina came over we went to SOHO to go shoppiingggg!
First we took a Subway and then walked a little bit. SOHO is known for it's cheap shopping and that is what we like! In the first shop I bought a t-shirt. Later on I bought old navy pants (sort of black velvet), boots, a dress, a colbert and a present for my little sister. Wies bought the perfect dress and a matching little jacket for New Years Eve. It really is perfect :)
We also went to Topshop!!! Jeeh! But my dad was a little bit tired of shopping and we were all getting hungry so we decided to first have some dinner and come back an other day. And we are definitely going back to Topshop. I HAVE to buy something there.
For dinner we went to Chinatown, which was just around the corner. I had some noodle wonton soup, Wies had crispy roasted chicken, my dad had hot and sour soup with roast duck and Christina had beef with vegetables and brown sauce (sorry Dianne, ik heb geen fotos, maar nu weet je wel wat we hebben gegeten haha). The guy at the restaurant was very funny. He was a very small and skinny guy, but he was verrrrry enthusiastic about everything. He wrote our order down in Chinese which looked crazy! I still have the receipt.
After that we went to East Greenwich Village. We went into some little shops. We even found an Eva restaurant. On the sign it said 'Eva's is Hot!' haha. It was already getting late so we took the subway back to the hotel. In the subway there was a Chinese guy playing flute and mouth-harmonica. We really wondered how he could keep his balance in the Subway train. At the hotel we ate some popcorn and around 12 we fell asleep.
We don't know what we're gonna do today, maybe tonight we're gonna go out to dance. For now we're just gonna wait until Christina comes here. Maybe we'll go ice-skating, or I dunno. Something fun!
We made some pictures but they're on Christina's phone, so we'll post them later on.
xoxo eva
p.s. Hessel, heel veel plezier in het hotel dit weekend! En thanx for your mail!
